Editly Home Repair started in 2020 with one van, two toolboxes and a shared frustration: home repair in KL was a lottery of vague prices and vanishing contractors. We set out to be the number people save, not search for.
The company was founded by Adam Yusof, a plumber with fourteen years on KL high-rise and landed jobs, and Chee Wai Hong, a Suruhanjaya Tenaga registered chargeman who spent a decade maintaining commercial buildings before going residential. They met on a renovation site in Setapak, kept fixing each other’s overlapping problems, and eventually made the partnership official.
Today eleven technicians work out of our Prima Setapak depot. Every hire spends their first month riding along with a senior, and nobody quotes a job alone until they can explain the fault to a customer in plain language — in English or Bahasa Malaysia, whichever you prefer.
Our operating rule has never changed: photograph the fault, explain the fix, agree the price — then open the toolbox. It costs us the occasional impatient customer and wins us everyone else.
The quote in your WhatsApp chat is the number on the invoice. Extras only ever happen with your written OK.
Shoe covers, dust sheets, and a vacuum before we leave. We show you the old parts we removed.
If a RM40 washer solves it, we will not sell you a RM400 tap. Repeat customers are the whole business model.
90 days on workmanship, manufacturer warranty on parts, and a real human answering the office line.
Send us your job today — you will get a named technician, an arrival window and a fixed price before we ring your doorbell.
